Fight AIDS in Africa:
What's New from
Ann Arbor?
August 6, 2003
September,
2003
In September, we
received great news from our friends in Burkina Faso, West
Africa. They have begun to break through some of the myths
and barriers that people with AIDS face in their villages.
Some teens have begun taking leadership to educate others
in their own villages and their peers in other villages. Some
of the young men who have been returning from the war in neighboring
Ivory Coast with AIDS are stepping out front to help others
learn and join in the fight against the spread of AIDS.
